Ultrasound in Medical Education

In the November edition of Medical Education, read about the innovative use of podcasts and medical student instructors in the ultrasound-integrated medical school curriculum of our sister campus to the south, UC Irvine. UCLA will hold a series of demonstration workshops to teach junior medical students ultrasound this year. If these are successful, we are looking to expand efforts to introduce ultrasound in the first and second year curricula at the Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
