The answers to the Annals of Emergency Medicine Journal Club article on Point-of-care ultrasonography in assessing fluid responsiveness in sepsis patients is available in the February 2013 issue. Topics covered include the ability of emergency physicians to estimate left ventricular function, the technique and limitations to IVC measurement, and alternative methods for assessing fluid responsiveness in septic patients.
