The UCLA Ultrasound Student Interest Group was created in 2014 by five students who saw the potential of point-of-care ultrasound to make them better physicians. As a group, they brought outstanding peer-to-peer ultrasound education to their fellow classmates and, as a result, they received the UCLA DGSOM Interest Group Teaching Award in 2015. As faculty advisors for USIG, it has been our honor to help mentor and train them on their journeys to becoming amazing physicians, educators, and leaders. Good luck Amelia, Daniel, Evan, Jennifer, and Mo! |
